C. e. Atlantic Ocean in the vicinity of Madeira Is.;
Ex. restricted range;
A single colony in the vicinity of Pico do Cedro, Curral das Freiras. Additional undiscovered colonies may exist.
Disperses into the ec. Atlantic s. off the nw. coast of Africa (Morocco, Mauritania, Senegal, Gambia, Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia).
