Range

C. Pacific Ocean between 25° and 35°S;
(1) Lord Howe (Pyramid Rock), Kermadec (Raoul(?), Herald, North and South, Macauley, Curtis, Cheeseman, Meyer Is.), Austral or Tubuai Is. (Raivavae, Rapa), Pitcairn (Henderson, Oeno, Ducie Is.), Tuamotu and Easter Is.
(2) Juan Fernandez (Mas-a-Tierra, Santa Clara), San Ambrosio, San Felix Is. off coast of Chile.
Disperses to 42°N in the c. Pacific (November to January) n. of Polynesia and the Hawaiian Is., w. to the Caroline Is., New Zealand and ex. e. Australia (Queensland, New South Wales off Wollongong) and e. to 21°N far off w. North America, Mexico, Peru and Chile.
