Se. Colombia to s. Amazonian South America;
(1) E. of the Andes in se. Colombia, e. Ecuador, e. Peru, sw. Brazil (Mato Grosso) and n. Bolivia.
(2) N. Brazil s. of the Amazon from the Rio Madeira to the Rio Xingu. Sc. Amazonian Brazil in Rondonia and Mato Grosso s. to ne. Bolivia
(3) N. Brazil s. of the Amazon from the Rio Xingu to the Rio Tocantins.
(4) N. Brazil s. of the Amazon from the Rio Tocantins to n. Maranhao.
The Argus Bare-eye was collected in se. Colombia (se. Narino).
