E. slope of the Andes in upper Amazonian interior of wc. South America;
(1) Ex. s. Colombia (Putumayo), e. Ecuador and ne. Peru.
(2) N. Peru (Loreto in the Rio Nanay, Rio Tigre and Rio Pastaza drainages and the Kapawi Ecotourism Lodge on the Rio Pastaza).
