Range

Caribbean slopes s. Central America and nw. South America;
(1) Caribbean slope of e. Costa Rica and Panama locally along both slopes from Veraguas and San Blas.
(2) N. and nc. Colombia along the n. slope of the Andes from Cesar s. to Cordoba and in the Magdalena Valley to Caldas) and nw. Venezuela (Zulia and Merida).
