Range

Ne. South American and Amazonian South America mostly s. of the Amazon;
Two populations;
(1) Surinam and Guiana. Birds from n. Brazil (n. bank of the Amazon in e. Amazonas and Para) are tentatively assigned to this race.
(2) Se. Colombia, e. Ecuador and n. Peru.
(3) C. Peru.
(4) E. Peru, w. Brazil and n. Bolivia.
(5) C. Amazonian Brazil.
(6) C. Amazonian Brazil.
