Range

S. Central America and nw. South America. Amazonian South America;
Two populations;
(1) Caribbean slope of se. Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and both slopes of Panama. Colombia to w. Venezuela and nw. Ecuador.
(2) Upper Amazonia (e. Ecuador, e. Peru and n. Bolivia in La Paz, Beni, ne. Santa Cruz).
(3) Se. Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and ne. Brazil.
