Range

S. Central America to nw. South America;
(1) Caribbean slope of e. Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama (along the Pacific slope locally from Canal Zone to Darien), w. Colombia (lower Atrato Valley and along Pacific coast) to nw. Ecuador s. to n Pichincha and a single record from n. Manabi.
(2) Pacific slope of sw. Costa Rica and adjacent w. Panama.
(3) Lowlands of n. Colombia (upper Rio Sinu Valley, lower Rio Cauca Valley and middle Rio Magdalena Valley e. to Santander).
