Range

N. and e. South America;
Two populations;
(1) E. Colombia (e. Vichada) in the Orinoco Drainage to s. and e. Venezuela (n. Amazonas, Bolivar and sw. Anzoategui to the Delta Amacuro) and ex. n. Brazil (Roraima), Guyana and Surinam.
(2) Ne. Amazonian Brazil, s. of the Amazon from e. of Manaus to Amapa and possibly Guiana.
(3) Ne. Brazil (Serra do Baturite, Ceara).
(4) Coastal e. Brazil from Paraiba and e. Bahia s. to Espirito Santo and rarely n. Rio de Janeiro.
