Range

C. and s. Central America;
Two populations;
(1) Gulf-Caribbean slope of se. Mexico (se. Veracruz, n. Oaxaca, Tabasco, Chiapas, and e. to s. Quintana Roo) s. to n. Nicaragua.
(2) Se. Mexico (Yucatan Peninsula in e. Yucatan, n. Campeche and n. Quintana Roo).
(3) Pacific slope of Costa Rica s. from the Gulf of Nicoya to w. Panama (w. Chiriqui).
