Himalayas and highland of se. Asia, Malay Peninsula, Sumatra and Borneo;
Fragmented distribution;
(1) E. Himalayas of n. India (Garwhal e. to Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur and Nagaland), Nepal, Bangladesh, s. China, Burma, n. and w. Thailand, Laos and n. Vietnam.
(2) Se. Thailand.
(3) Cambodia and s. Vietnam (Cochinchina).
(4) Malaysia and Sumatra.
(5) Mountains of nw. Borneo.
