Range

N. tropical and sw. South America;
Two populations;
Wc. and se. Bolivia (La Paz, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz) s. to nw. Argentina (Salta). Lowlands and foothills of the Andes in c. and s. Chile (Bio-Bio to Magellanes) to sw. Argentina (Neuquen to Santa Cruz).
