Himalayas to se. Asia. Ex. e. Asia;
Two widely separted populations with the s. population being rather fragmented;
(1) Nw. Himalayas of ne. Pakistan, nw. India (Kashmir), w. and se. Tibet.
(2) E. Himalayas of ne. India (Assam) and Burma to nw. and ne. Thailand.
(3) C. Manchuria to cs. China (Sikiang).
(4) Indochina in s. Laos, n. c. Vietnam.
