Range

S. Central America and Amazonian South America;
Four populations;
(1) Caribbean slope of Costa Rica and Panama to c. Colombia and sw. Ecuador.
(2) Amazonian Brazil, e. Ecuador, e. Peru and ex. ne. Bolivia.
(3) S. Venezuela, Guyana, Surinam, Guiana and n. Brazil.
